After reaching Tribhuvan Internation Airport, our driver will pick you up at the entrance gate and drop you at the hotel. You will be offered welcome drinks by our representatives in the hotel. The representative will brief the entire itinerary to you. In the evening, you will be going to Pashupatinath temple for evening aarti. In Nepal, Pashupatinath is believed to be the national idol. Traveling to Nepal will be incomplete without visiting the beautiful temple of Pashupatinath. The chiming sounds of evening prayer bells will be a fascinating experience for you. At night you will be getting warm delicious food at your hotel.
Day 2: Kathmandu sightseeing

After breakfast, you will be getting ready for the sightseeing of Kathmandu. It is one of the ancient cities with lots of marvelous piece of architecture. You will really relish the enchanting beauty of the capital city. The city will surprise with its ruins and the spiritual aura. In contrast with the last evening, today you will encounter the beauty of the architecture of the temple. This cultural heritage site stands on the banks of River Bagmati over the centuries. According to Shaivites, it is one of the holy abodes of Lord Shiva. Built on 5th century under the Licchavi King, Prachanda Dev, this temple attracts the pilgrims for its architectural significance. In the inner sanctum of the temple, the prime idol is of the shape of Mukhalinga made out of stone with a silvery bounded yoni along with the serpent. The idol has faces directing in four primary directions of the world holding the rudraksha on right hand and kamandalu on the other. Your temple visit will be accomplished with the visit of all the other temple complexes within the main temple. In the inner and outer courtyard, you will find different temples dedicated to different lords. This pagoda styled temple architecture with wooden carved rafters will be a visual delight to enjoy.
After this, you will be traveling to Budhanilkantha temple. This temple is devoted to Lord Vishnu. Located in the northern part of the capital city, this beautiful temple is placed below the Shivapuri hills. The largest stone carving Vishnu statue is the largest one. The relevance of the statue is for its marvelous stone carved sculpting skills. You will find the prime deity reclining on the cosmic serpent named Shesha. The crown of Kirtimukha has made the deity look more adorable. The statue was sculpted back in the 7th century under the reign of Vishnu Gupta.
Next, you will be going to Golden Temple Mahabouddha for its marvelous carvings on the wall. This monument was built in the 14th century with clay bricks. This temple was built under the influence of the Shikhara style. You will find beautiful works on terracotta covering the image of Lord Buddha. This temple is built following the architecture of Mahabouddha temple located in Bodhgaya.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Syrabrubenshi

Today you will be driving from the capital city to another beautiful village located inside the national park of Langtang. This beautiful village becomes popular due to the Kailash Yatra among the tourists. If you have enough time, you can encounter the local cultural lifestyle of the people staying in the Langtang valley. This beautiful village is located on the river banks of Trishuli. Due to humid weather, rainfall occurs often in this location. While driving across Syabrubesi, you will feel the gorge like topography between two mountains. Due to high altitude, you will feel the coldness in weather. At night you will be staying here.
Day 4: Drive to Rasuwagadi and drive to Kerung

Distance: Syabrubesi to Rasuwagadhi: 15kms (1hour)
Rasuwagadhi to Kerung: 26kms (2hours)

On the following morning, you will be driving to the borderline village of Rasuwagadi. From here you will be getting Tibetan guides along with Tibetan vehicle to enter the Tibetan Autonomous Region. It will be quite exciting for the pilgrims to enjoy the significance of no man’s land. In this autonomous region, one can feel the world without any geographical boundaries. Then you will be driving to Kerung. It is located on the river banks of Gyirong. As the town is located at an elevation of 2700 m you have to adapt yourself with the extremities of the climate.
Day 5: Acclimatization day

Kailash Yatra required mental as well as physical strength to complete the journey. Acclimatization day is for adaptation purpose. You can stroll around the beautiful village of Kerung to make yourself prepared for the journey. Stay overnight at Kerung.
Day 06: Drive to Dongba

Today after taking breakfast you will be traveling to Tibet Autonomous Region of Dongba. The other name of this township is called “beggar’s township”. This beautiful mountainous city is situated on the river valley of Nujiang. Earlier the transport services were really bad. In the 1970s, China started the reforming the valley. The local residents of Dongba earlier went out of the valley to seek a job. Presently the local people of Dongba focus mostly on restoring the architectural specimen. You will definitely like those architectural splendors on your drive. On the drive, you will be getting the beautiful glimpse of Mt Sishapangma and Gauri Shankar on your way. If you are an ardent lover of nature, then the mountainous terrains will definitely allure you. The panoramic view of the sunset in the mountains will be a cherishing lifetime memory. Stay overnight at Dongba.
Day 07: Drive to Lake Mansarovar

Today you will be driving to the highest freshwater lake in the world, Lake Mansarovar. The parikrama around Lake Mansarovar completes your spiritual trip to Mt. Kailash. For the first time, you will catch the glimpse of Lake Mansarovar along with Mt. Kailash from distant. Since time immemorial it is believed that if an individual prays something from the core of pure heart then the lake will fulfill his wishes. Tonight you will stay in the guesthouse located near Chuu Gompa Monastery.
Day 08: Lake Parikrama and drive to Darchen

Today you will be completing your parikrama around the lake. Firstly you will perform rituals for the souls of your ancestors. It is believed that the pilgrims perform ceremonial rituals on the shores of the lake for the peacefulness of the ancestors. After performing puja, meditation and holy bath you will be driving to Darchen. It is a small village located within the Purang County of the autonomous region of Tibet. This beautiful village is now home for Tibetan pilgrims. This village is also helpful for nomads for grazing of sheep. For Kailash Yatra, this town becomes an important initiation location for the journey.
Day 09: Tirthapuri excursion

On their spiritual trip to Mt. Kailash, the pilgrims always seek of spending more time in the beautiful terrain of mountains. They want to feel the closeness with the divinity. In religious scriptures, mountains were often described as the mysterious areas for the shelter of gods. Till date, it is believed gods live in seclusion in these beautiful landscapes. Among the Hindu pilgrims, Tirthapuri secures a special mention for its spiritual significance. It is believed that to take bath in the hot springs of Tirthapuri, one will be cured of any kind of physical ailments. A journey to Mt. Kailash acts as the complete path of attaining liberation. It is a Buddhist pilgrimage site located near the banks of Sutlej River. Traveling to the holy land of Tirthapuri is quite famous among the pilgrims. After the circumambulation around Lake Mansarovar and Mt. Kailash, the pilgrims explore this spiritual hub. It is the third holiest site located in the Western Tibet. The ultimate spot of the expedition in this spiritual journey is Tirthapuri. The hot springs located in Tirthapuri give the most soothing experience to the travelers. The state of relaxation and liberation has been a constant concern among the pilgrims. A journey to Tirthapuri gives completion to it. After the strenuous journey across mt. Kailash, this spiritual trip will give a fatigue-free experience. The pilgrims here also indulge in ritual circumambulation. It is also believed that parikrama around Tirthapuri for 13 times is equal to parikrama around Kailash for 1 time. It takes around 1 hour to complete the parikrama. On your path, you will get to see the Tirthapuri monastery. It is believed as the religious site for worshiping the goddess of Dorje Phagmo. In this site, Padmasambhava along his consort Yeshe Tsogyel is prominently worshiped here.
It is a single day excursion from Darchen. You will be trekking for around 4 hours to reach Tirthapuri.
Day 10: Astapad excursion

Today you will be going to another location from Darchen. In Hindu philosophy, everyone seeks nirvana at some point in their life. The idea of liberation means how one renounces the complete bondage of the world to lead a selfless life. Among the Jains, attaining nirvana is the highest level of inner peace of mind. Rishabhadeva, the first Tirthankara attained his nirvana in Ashtapad on the way of Mt. Kailash. The name suggests “eight steps”. Among the Jains, this is one of the most religious sites for attaining liberation from pleasuring life. Asthapad journey combines eight steps leading to caves of different kinds. The devotees take the parikrama covering a distance of 52kms around Mt. Kailash to attain the path of liberation. One has to face the adverse climatic conditions on the way to parikrama. On the path of parikrama, Ashtapad is one of the most famous pilgrimage sites while visiting the spiritual abode of Lord Shiva. This famous pilgrimage shrine is not only famous among the Jains but also among the Hindus as well. To take the journey of Ashtapad, the pilgrims have to take giant eight steps to enter into the beautiful palace. The pilgrims become completely thrilled by looking at the natural beauty of the mountains around. The mountain peaks on the way of Ashtapad is folded in the Sichuan province of the Southwest China very close to Tibetan border. It will take a day to complete a trek of 8km from Darchen to reach Astapad. At night you will stay in Darchen.
Day 11: Saptarishi Cave excursion

Today you will be going to another location called Saptarishi Cave. It falls on the way of Nandi inner kora. These caves are of significant values among the tourists. This site is famous for the sages who were dedicated devotees of Lord Shiva. The caves consist of 13 chortens. In the time of Nandi inner kora, the trekking to the Saptrishi caves is the most difficult one. The tourists want to take this immense journey to get the divine grandeur of heavenly abode of Lord Shiva. This peak has been a major area of exploration among the pilgrims for its religious significance. These caves are situated at a high altitude of 6000m. After leaving Atmalingam, the tourists have to climb the vertical facet of the mountain wall to reach Saptrishi caves. There are 13 chortens located near the caves under the supervision of Gengta Monastery. Without proper skills in trekking, it will be quite difficult to complete the inner parikrama around the Nandi Mountains. From Darchen, the pilgrims have to trek for 11.3km to reach Saptrishi caves. One who is willing to visit saptrishi caves has to stay back in Darchen. The tourists take Darchen as one of the most accessible trekking points for the parikrama. Stay overnight in Darchen.
Day 12: Drive to Yamdwar and then trek till Dhiraphuk

Mode of Transport: first drive then trek
From today onwards you will be engaging in parikrama across Mt. Kailash. No one is allowed to climb high of Mt. Kailash due to its mythical and religious significance. You will be driving towards Yamdwar. From Darchen it is 10 km away taking an hour to reach. From Yamdwar, you will be trekking towards Dhiraphuk. The parikrama across Mt. Kailash covers 38km. you will be trekking towards Dhiraphuk on foot.
If you are physically not fit then you will have to take a pony. We carry our kitchen resources and camping logistics on yak or pony for the pilgrims of Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. After reaching there, you will get to view the beautiful and enormous sights of Mt. Kailash. Due to extreme weather conditions, you will have to take your food early.
Day 13: Trek to Zuthulphuk via Kuber Kund

Altitude: Zuthulphuk-4700m
Distance: 22kms (10hours)
Mode of Transport: trek
Today you will be going out of your comfort zone. You will be trekking for 22kms today to reach Zuthulphuk. In the inner kora, you will be passing through Kuber Kund. It is one of the most strenuous treks. One has to walk through deep layers of snow. The sharpness of stones is really scary for the pilgrims. Without proper guidance of sherpas, it will be very difficult to trek. At times you will feel hopeless in completing the trek. The inner faith will take you close to the Almighty. Stay overnight at Zuthulphuk.
Day 14: Trek to Darchen and drive back to Dongpa

Distance: Zuthulphuk to Darchen- 5kms (4-5hours)
Darchen to Dongpa: 53kms (2hours)
Mode of Transport: trek and then drive
Today is the last day of your Kailash Yatra. You will be covering around 8kms of the journey. You will be trekking down to Darchen. It will take around 3 hrs to complete the journey. After reaching Darchen, drivers will be waiting on the other side of the trail. You will be driving back to Dongba. At night you will be staying at Dongba.
Day 15: Drive to Kerung

Distance: 110kms (3-4 hours)

After completing your breakfast you will be driving to Kerung from Dongba. On the beginning of your trip if you are lack of time, now you can explore the village of Kerung on your drive back. At night you will be staying in Kerung.
Day 16: Drive to Kathmandu

At the last stretch of your journey, you will be reaching the capital city of Kathmandu. If you have times then go shopping in the local places. Stay overnight in Kathmandu.

Cancellation Policy:
Initial amount for booking is INR 20,000/- for Indians & USD 500 for NRI and Foreigners being non-refundable & nontransferable, once booked
subsequently intended cancellations & delays caused due to natural, terrorist attack ,political or by the Pilgrim modification reason If the booking is cancelled 30 days prior to departure, INR 30,000 for Indians & USD 600 for foreigners would be charged as cancellation amount.
If the booking is cancelled 20 days prior to departure, 50% of the tour cost will be into cancellation process.
If the booking is cancelled 15 days prior to departure, there will be no refund.
If suddenly program has changed Due to weather problem, natural disaster, landslide, technical problem and political movement, Chinese reason, all additional expenses should be paid by themselves
General Information regarding Kailash Mansarovar Tour
Insurance: Medical Insurance not compulsory for visa processing but will usefully you do insurance in case any health problem arises during travel.
Oxygen cylinder: Our Company will provide oxygen cylinder in emergency. Usually, oxygen cylinder is not required. However, some pilgrimage we prefer to carry their own handy oxygen cylinders. You may buy small portable cylinder in Tibet. It may cost approx. Yuan 20-30 per cylinder.
Food during Tour: Our cooks will be traveling with you during the entire trip.Our Staff will carry all necessary cooking items and will provide Indian vegetarian food during Yatra..
