One is Foreign Affairs Office of TAR (governmental); the other is Pilgrim Center (non-governmental), short for Tibet-India pilgrim Reception Center, located in Tuanjie New Village of Lhasa. Currently, for Indian citizens visiting Mt.Kailash and Manasarovar, the shortest way is to fly from Delhi or other parts of India to Kathmandu, and then cross Gyirong Port, the Sino-Nepal border, and travel northwest all the way to Gyirong town for acclimatization and then keep moving to Saga,Zhongba, Paryang and Manasrovar and Darchen and finally reach Mt.Kailash.
